Did some "101' research into nutrition and I have a much better understanding of how it all goes together..
The DASH Diet, more lifestyle than diet programme, has been in and out of my life for some time.
The whole idea seems quite reasonable and is very easy to implement.
I have everything I need; I just need to start.
So it begins...

Not anything crazy; just enough to supplement what I know I need for both my gender and my age range..
it is a daily multi vitamin, calcium tablets , glucosamine tablets, some liquid iron (taken at different times, of course, and ascenta omega 3 liquid (great product, not sure if it's sold outside of Canada but if it is, run, don't walk and get some!!
I got some good hemp protein (manitoba harvest) that I am going to start using; Ièm not really sure what will work for me but I am willing to commit to two servings a day.
Still trying to work out how much protein I really need as I seem to have a slow metabolism and I am concerned about taking in more than i require...

I just want to be healthier and happier and not be so concerned about what my husband thinks.. He does not share my joy of a nice physique.
