When I Started:
How I Started:
I started working out seriously when I was 20 years old (quite a while ago! lol) and I actually went from 195 pounds to 127 pounds in about 4-5 months. I actually became quite unhealthy about weight loss for a while, but then was introduced to weight lifting by my ex-husband and I realized my body is made to build muscle. I noticed results after each and every workout. Problem, I tend to bulk up so easily that I'm hoping this site can help me balance it all out :)
Why I Love It:
See above. The beautiful structure it gives my body! I love being able to lift heavier things than some guys, lol! It is so sexy for a woman to be strong!
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at sites such as these. Getting new ideas and looking at athletes like Jamie Eason!

I am 147 pounds here and have too much bodyfat. My nephew's death really took a toll on my health. I'm ready to be healthy again!
Ok, I still have a lot of work to go! Youza! And not a word about the whole bad hair and face, I just got done working out so give a girl a break, lol.
I actually want to lose fat and gain muscle. I'm not completely dumb to weight training, but since my nephew died in June I have found myself in an unhealthy rut and it's time I dug myself back out.
Goal (Long):
I would like to lose the 15 pounds I gained since my nephews death and try to increase my strength training goals to attain lower body fat percentage. I have a goal to be 130 pounds and at the very least 23% bodyfat before the nasty holidays! :). So that gives me about 3 months!
So I did a leg today, well sort of, I had absolutely no giddy up what-so-ever! Damn PMS, really sucks! I ended up doing 40 minutes, but that was it! I'm happy I even made it up the stairs, lol
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Entry forms are now available online at our website if you know someone who may be interested in competing in April!
I was taking fat burners last april, then I discovered Endorush, from BSN! 1/2 a bottle of tha and you are through the roof. I'm really hard on myself. I'm 39, lots of catching up to do. Make yourself do a show, a deadline helps if you think you have to wear a bikini under hot lights and get scrutinized.
Thank you for adding me..there are two times a woman looks good with a sweaty face and messed up hair..one is after a good workout... :) Take care, Timbo
no one can be too kind, and if you were at my gym, and i got up the nerve id talk to you before or ecen after your workout because you have beauty with class look to you
That's great! Keep in mind that since you gained muscle mass in your arms, etc... you actually lost more fat weight than the scale is telling you. This is one of the reasons that the scale is not a dependable tool for fatloss. Too many variables. I weigh in every Saturday morning when I enter the gym. I stay right around 220 each week. It is truer with me because I am not making any dramatic changes. Good luck!
great job for working out so much girl! Im sure you feel much better too! (well, besides the bloating and sorness probably!!) Im doing really well actually, been hitting the gym hard, and sticking to my diet so that's step one right!!
