I've always been an athletic type of person and started really "working out" to Jane Fonda tapes, weights when I was 15 years old. I started working out to tapes because my mom worked out to her and I started doing them with her and kept up with it......how far I have come from those days!
Why I Love It:
It is like a natural high and a drug for me. I do it for my mental, physical, and energy health.
How I Stay Motivated:
I know how it makes me feel and I teach classes so I HAVE to be there which makes it alot easier for me on the days when I don't feel like working out at a specific time. If I don't exercise, I go into withdrawal mode.
BB Accomplishments:
I want to do a fitness competition in 2009 and further educate myself on nutrition. I want to expand back area and more shapely legs and butt and strong shoiulders - LOVE shoulders!
I want to build my upper body wider, more muscle and define lower body
Goal (Long):
It has been my dream to do a fitness competition. Was going to do one in May, but have a few other goals to accomplish before I can fully focus on my training. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
My son was always around me working out (he lives with his Dad now so that's why I say "was"). He would sometimes come in the room and try to do the videos with me! When he draws pictures of me, he usually puts me in a fitness outfit!! He always went to the gym with me when I taught my classes and has grown up around it. Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?

i still have to check out a few natural organizations to decide which one i want to compete in. im going to check out a couple in may, but for now, im still doing powerlifting. have a comp march 14th, the weekend after the arnold
