I've always lifted on and off since I was 17. I have always had a weight problem and go up and down with loosing and gaining weight. I used to be 250lbs when I was 16. I managed to loose 75lbs in four months, don't know how but I did, got down to about 180 and was in the best shape of my life then. However it didn't last and through life changes I gained most of it back, then since have been loosing and gaining. Two years ago I lost my wife who was only 23 due to liver failure. During our marriage and after her death I had really let myself go and I ballooned up to about 320lbs. In the past year I have gotten down to about 250 through just diet alone. However I finally intend now to get back to 180lbs and stay that way.
Why I Love It:
Makes me feel great. I feel strong, have tons of energy, self confidence, and I purge all my negative energy out and bring new positive energy back in around me.
How I Stay Motivated:
My daughter, my girlfriend, and myself.
BB Accomplishments:
I went from benching only 80lbs in August to 150lbs currently.
I want to weigh 190lbs or have under 10% body fat.
Goal (Long):
My goal is to get back to 180lbs. I am currently about 237, but do have muscle under the fat. I am on a pretty strict diet and do weights through isolated muscle groups six days a week. I do cardio pretty much every day for at least 10-30 min depending on my energy and how much I am doing with the weights. I want to be under 10% body fat.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 40 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%

keep working toward your goals, if you keep lifting and control your diet you'll manage it better and keep the weight down. it requires a complete life style change, listen to me i have simular goals drop 15-18 lbs but drop current body fat from 20 to 9 or 10. i just don't have that type of body, kinda like you if i don't work at it will get away from me. Keep lifting!
congradulations on your transformation, you look big and strong,i hope you keep it up,much respect on the inner strength you have to go thru something so devastating.
