When I Started:
How I Started:
When I started dating my husband I was really impressed with his level of fitness. I signed up at the gym so I could learn more. I only did cardio for a few years, but I have been lifting weights now for the past 8 or 9 months. I love it!
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
I love the way that I feel after I work out. When I am eating bad and not working out as hard, I just feel crappy. The thought of this feeling alone keeps me motivated. Having a super motivated husband is always a plus though :) One more thing...I post pics around the house of girls I think have amazing bodies!! Haha
BB Accomplishments:
Well...I have alot that I am currently WORKING to accomplish.

Hi.....so I just thought I'd post kind of what my workouts are all about!! I am currently on a plan designed by Cathy Savage and I basically do full-body weight training with varying sets and reps 3 times a week. Cardio is usually 4 times a week for half an hour, but if I am REALLY bored...
hey, hows that butter cream toffee flavor of that protein powder? Ive tried the mocha, chocolate mint and chocolate, but i'm scared to try any other flavor.
Those you explained are "chin ups" and it seems you wanna do more of a pull up (wide grip, palms away) The wider the grip the more you end up using your lats...where as the close grip palms forward you use your biceps. Both versions will be benificial for sure, but lat pull downs and using the assist machine with a wide grip will get that back in shape in no time!!
As always...Stay motivated!

yes it does...believe it or not pullups are ALOT about muscle memory even more so than strenght. No matter how much weight you need to assist you just shoot for 7-10 reps (Whatever doesnt hurt your back...shoot for 7) If you can do lots of push ups you have a WHOLE lot over the average woman so props there!
Wannna learn to do pull ups? Well hopefully your gym has a pull up assist machine. If it does use it, if not you can get in the top part of the pull up movement and hold it as long as you can. Push ups really help your pull ups as well. For Marine PFTs thats what the ladies do...is the static hold...dont know what the time is for a perfect score but you could look it up...anyways...stay motivated!
