Since I was about 12 or younger, I had worked out here and there, not on any real regimen. When I turned 14, I had a gym set up in my basement, printed out a couple of pictures of bodybuilders to hang, and took an interest. I then started looking up some of the modern bodybuilders, (Ronnie Coleman, Dennis James etc.) I was in awe by their physiques. Ronnie especially inspired me to the fullest. I had alwas had a desire to be larger than life so from that night I could not even sleep since all I could think about was bodybuilding and getting into competeing. From the point on I caught the bug and the rest was history.
Why I Love It:
I love it for many reasons. Number one is always to glorify God. On top of that another major reason being the pump that it gives you. plus I've always wanted to be big considering I was pretty thin, and very light to begin with. Upon entering high school, I was extremely small and over all petite, which I of course HATED. I feel that I started with less than even the most ectomorphic people have. When I started bodybuilding in january, 2006, I was 14, about 5'2"-5'3"ish, had 11.5" arms, and weighed only 104-105lbs at the end of the day. By the time I was 17, I had won shows, and put on well over 50lbs of quallity muscle. Another major reason had to do with the fact that I was always just okay in sports. I felt that this was a sport I could go far in, and the results would always be there, if someone wanted to see your results, you just whip off your shirt, or roll up a sleeve. My father has an intense collection of trophies and medals from his days as a marathon runner. He went to the top of an also independant sport. I was DYING for something I coul build up accomplishments in, and actually have a passion for it at the same time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Originally, it was the desire to get that trophy, I had gotten a few from other sports like B-ball, and such, but they didnt mean anything to me. plus training for my first competition, and not knowing what to expect, I just wanted to be able to size up to my competitors. now that I have competed in and won several shows over the years, I am more than determined to better myself for every competition that I do. I now here from everybody including WNBF Pro bodybuilders that I have pro potential, and this constantly pushes me to tackle bigger challenges and larger shows, continuouslt upping the Ante.
BB Accomplishments:
-I give everything I have gained to my lord and savior Jesus Christ...
-I jumped into competeing as young as 15 years old!
-BY 17 years old, I have: Competed in three different organizations, have beaten out both Teenagers as well as grown men, both HEAVY weight and light. (while never exceeding 145lbs). I've been featured in magazines AND on-line web sites. Have brought 7 different personal friends into this sport. I have brought home a total of *8* different trophies.. All BEFORE I could legally vote.
-Featured on Bodybuiling.com numerous times.
-Featured In the Biggest Issue of
*2006 Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness Magazine.
*2009 Fitness & Physique Magazine.
-Achieved Youtube Partnership (Sponsored by Youtube).
-Spreading this sport into the mainstream and have helped MANY people get started.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Well I have had mior injuries here and there, tweaking my shouler, back.. but the worst was not even from weight lifting but was affected by it. My elbow. I went through YEARS of pain from it, and because of it I really did not have any triceps, when I started I could only max out 65lbs or so on Bench press, and I could not even skull crush. I couldnt even make the skull crushing motion, I could only extend my arm half way out and it would lock up and crack.Well I have had mior injuries here and there, tweaking my shouler, back.. but the worst was not even from weight lifting but was affected by it. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
not using strict form is NOT a way to get injured, its when people dont know how to execute the lift in the first place. Also when people try using too much weight, and NOT listaning to their bodies. ie when your triceps are insanely sore... DONT work them out.not using strict form is NOT a way to get injured, its when people dont know how to execute the lift in the first place. It felt SO great, getting back into the INBF this weekend at the largest, natural, ameasure show on the East Coast: The 2009 Northeast Classic A.K.A. The "INBF MONSTER MASH" (Nov. 7, 2009).
I had a whole lot of support going into this one, especially from my girlfriend of 2...
Thanks Nick!! Been really pushing myself harder and harder.. Want to qualify for some National show myself and really show them how its done!! Keep pushing it hard Teen Nationals a tough show did it myself! Loved it!!
thanks man...i was takin a look at your routine and i noticed you did arms right after back...your biceps arent too burnt out from your back day to hit them? Ive been doing legs, chest, back, shoulds, arms and im thinking having 3 days in a row with heavy compounds movements ie (squats, bench, deads) might be a little rough..but im still 100% sure yet...again awesome physique. Lookin' forward to seein you hit pro.
Hey dude, how are you, hows traning? i just saw a vid of you on youtube the clothing and supplement plans one, and i was just wondering what make the ZMA and arginine where on the vid!, thanks alot man take care..
Elliot! :)
i'm considering doing it but, i'm not entirely sure yet. I want to have some major improvements in my legs, back and arms. I might just go back to the Rhode Island natural again. It was my first show and i'd like to come back to it with my improvements. When are the teen nationals?
