Lifted off and on for a while, but never really made any gains. Then in June 2009, I bought a dip belt from bodybuilding.com and did some reading about exercises and workout plans, and have been taking off ever since. With the new imfo I've learned, I have made greater gains than at anyother time in my life, and have lifting friends that keep me motivated.
Why I Love It:
I feel better when I work out, and I want to look good for both me and my wife.
How I Stay Motivated:
Planning meals, workout routine, short term goals, and seeing results in the mirror are the things that keep me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
heavier weight and more pull-ups than ever before.

When you're not feeling motivated, remember that false motivation will get you further than no motivation
I'm looking for crazy strength! I want to see a chissled six pack, rock solid legs and massive arms between 6-10% body fat. I want to get on the bench and stack the bar to 225 lbs and knock it out like it's nothing. I want to strap on two 45 lb plates and do 10 pull-ups. I want to stay active and be healthy for decades to come.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Accountability and motivation.
I can also lift heavier because I have a spotter.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
2 or 3 sets of 8-12 per excercise and at least 10 sets per muscle group. I am also experimenting with 5 sets of 5 because the intent is to gain mass and strength.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
thanx for the comment. Not at all man. I just gotta make time. I go to school, work 10 hr shifts and still got time to hit the gym =). Oh yeah but in the AF we have it good too lol. We get like 1.5 hr PT 3 times a week. Mostly runs tho (3miles) i hate running!
