I started training yearrrrrs ago. With the help of a personal trainer I was able to get the "look" I wanted. I was training hard with the hopes of entering a figure competition back in 2000 when I became pregnant. I GAINED 50LBS DURING MY PREGNANCY!!!!! Here we are years later and I am back and ready to get BUFF!

I just gave birth! He is only 4 hours old. I gained 50 lbs carrying my beautiful son and I went from 125 to 175 lbs. I knew I had a lot of work to do.

I want to lose 10lbs and really change the shape of my body. I want a chiseled back, firm well sculpted arms and legs, a firm tight sexy tummy.. YOU GET THE POINT! Also I want to put on a pair of jeans and not worry how my ASS or BELLY looks in them.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
To get motivated- I look at myself in the mirror and zone in on the areas I'd like to change/enhance.

Yes
Why or why not?
Because I am passionate about it. It amazes me how many women are afraid of a little muscle. They say things like "eeeel, why do you want to look like a man"? Its funny because the ones who say things like that are the most out of shape. Those are the ones who would benefit from a little weight lifting. The males love it. They think its super sexxy. The females, not so much. But I take it all in stride. I don't let the negativity get to me. Overall my friends and family are supportive of my love of bodybuilding. Because I am passionate about it. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Love yourself- Take care of your body, mind and spirit...you're worth it.
Following the BFL ( Body for Life) work out plan.
Mon- Upper Body
Tues-Cardio
Wed-Lower Body
Thurs-cardio
Fri-Upper Body
Sat- Cardio
Sun- REST
Mondays I alternate btwn Upper or Lower to allow equal amount of training. I also do several exercises for each muscle group so I don't get bored!
Oh thankx. I want to go full throttle but I'm nursing. So I have to keep it simple and take in the proper amount of calories for my babe. So I'm patiently waiting.

Girl you noticed, my weight fell off- crazy isn't it. This was my heaviest pregnancy at that. I plan to start training heavy next week. I'm taking my time, atleast I thought I was.
