I was overweight in middle school and wasn't very comfortable in my body. My dad had received a bunch of gym equipment from his old gym and put it in our basement. I was easily motivated and picked it up.
Why I Love It:
The addiction. Once I started, i couldn't stop. Playing loud music, getting that pump, feeling the blood rush to my muscles after a lift, every bit I loved.
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
Its helped our relationship greatly. My girlfriend spends just as much time in the gym as me. Shes crazy with cardio and cares so much about what she looks like, as i do. Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I started out tracking my workouts in a spiral notebook just for the sole reason that i couldnt remember all the different lifts and the weights/reps i did. I got a sweet universal animal workout log at the Arnold and i use that now. Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
There is way more to offer than any home gym. There is also a lot of other people to meet and talk to about the sport.
Why I like this video: The intro is calm and quiet, then the song really picks up when arnold starts the dumbell fly's. I get the chills at that part every single time. The song just sticks in my head.
Today I did a chest/tri split with my dad and buddies (@160lbs). First set 180 x10 ... Second Set 185 x10 ... Third Set 205 x5 (6th spotted) ... Last we did our One Rep Max ... I previously have never actually thrown up 225 .. just estimated maxed it ... but today i threw it up like cake. ...

Hey Nick I've been using your workout plan that you had when you were Teen Body Builder for July for 4 weeks now. Been getting awesome results.
Question is: How long do you think I should stick with it or should I change it up?
yeah thanks dude aha yeah i eat clean the only meats i eat are chicken breast lean ground turkey talapia salmon pork and accationally a pot roast lol but every thing else is clean like salads oatmeal egg whites wheat products and i manage fruit and veggies to along with whey and casein protien aha

I see. I on the other hand, need to burn some fat. lol I haven't worked out for about two, two and a half weeks, after the 4th of July weekend. But I'm getting there and my upper body mass is filling up. Most of my shirts and t-shirts are snug in the chest area.
thanks dude and i do chest/tris monday back/bi's tuesday shoulders wed and legs thursday i do 10 to 15 mins of interval cardio on the tred and on friday i usually do cardio with 4arms and calves sat and sun are ussually off days and i normally get a good amount of sleep i just need to get my lower midsection more blocked lol
