How I Started:
Have always wanted a more 'toned' body. Randomly picked up an Oxygen mag because I loved the way the woman on the cover looked and I wanted to look the same...led me to here and I'm working my butt off now - and suprisingly loving it!
Why I Love It:
It's transforming my body into something I didn't know it could be. It's given me energy and I've found it to be a stress reliever too :)

Not that impressive, I know. A little less definition since I slacked last month....posting it to see what I can acheive in progress this month :) I am happy that it looks WAY better then when I started in April though!

Goal (Long):
Growing up, proper nutrition was NEVER a part of my life. I've always been atheltic but it doesn't count for much when you're not eating properly. Skinny Fat!! I always thought that the body I had was the body I had - nothing I could do about it. Yikes, I can't believe how much I didn't know!
I want to be as healthy as I possibly can be. I have one life and I plan on making it the best it can be.
I'm working on lowering my BF% and getting muscle defintion. Since I'm hitting the gym 5 days a week, I want to see some major progress by the end of June. I want to be lean, toned and healthy for LIFE and pass those principles down to my family and maybe even inspire some people along the way.
Just started (trying) to use fitday.com to track my eating habits, calorie intake and balance of Protien, Carbs and Fats. I think my lack of knowledge about the type of foods and how they add up may be holding me back from my goals. Trying to educate myself on this.

Thanks! I keep on forgetting to update progress pics. :( Off of P90x because I found it tough to find time everyday for workouts, so back to lifting as heavy as possible when I can fit it in!

Thanks for all your awesome support hun!! Trust me, it HELPS!! So I found this competition on July 11th in Toronto, which would give me 12 weeks to prepare instead of 8 weeks and I wouldn't have to travel!! It makes me feel more comfortable to do the show in Toronto, instead of giving myself 8 weeks LoL
