I'm starting a conditionla phase as I be going back to the Army and planning to race the Marine Corp 10K in October
Goal (Long):
I was fit and muscular when i was in the Army,i want to get back to that, i want to be in shape, muscular and lean. Don't know if i ever want to compete, but i'm not ruling it out
yeah i did some cardio today. i have to start doing it more often again. it's like i start then i stop then i start then i stop. at least this time i have healthy eating to back it up.
Running is not the problem, lol. My trainer has me on HIIT right now, so I'm going with what he gives me. He does not want me adding more cardio right now. As time goes on, he will switch up my cardio portion & I will be able to add more. The HIIT will help me still in that department though :)
Okay when I click on map and race details, it says that it is 7 miles long, eeeekkkk, I was hoping for 6, lol. damn, Really have a lot of work to do....
I thought the Falmouth one is 6.2 also, but reading in some places that it's 7miles. Who knows. The map shows 6, lol. I gotta find out what it is. I had down 6.2 for Falmouth road race before??? HMMM.
I plan on it. Same goal as you, lol. Just finishing the damn thing. I am an awful runner and terrible at it, but I think I can progress to that point. Not worried about beating someone but just finishing also :).
