This was the third time that I got fat and had to get thin again. My mom had to have stomach surgery back in 1996 and I have also struggled with weight my whole life. I want to end this cycle because it is not healthy for me to gain and lose fifty pounds every few years. I put on thirty pounds this time and I am once again training to get it off. This time it will be for good. I got married October 2006 and about six months later left my 70-hour-a-week advertising/management job to take a rest and take care of my responsibilities. I realized that my biggest responsibility is to myself and my health. I achieved my ACE certification as a Personal Trainer in September 2007. I think it may be my solution to helping other people and finally ending the vicious cycle of eating disorders and obesity in my family. I want it to end with ME.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel when I work out. I used to have to take anxiety medicine and I contribute the fact that I no longer need it to working out and living healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband, Dave, and my love for him is what keeps me motivated. I want to be the best me I can be for me AND him.
We also have been thinking about having children and I want to be healthy BEFORE I take on that endeavor as well as be a good role model for my child. I want fitness and nutrition to be a part of their lives.

Nice try and good form, but far from my dancing weight.
I am 26 and should be able to look it. I want to not be able to pinch an inch everywhere. I need to make a permanent change and stop getting overweight every five years. I want to be able to run marathons again. I want to be a role model for my sisters. I want to be proud of what I see in the mirror. I want to attempt my first triathalon ever. I want to keep my great butt! Haha!
