I would like to build more muscle mass. I am sick of always being the skinny chick, I want to be the strong one.
Goal (Long):
I want to be able to achieve more muscular arms and defined abdominals. I see so many pictures of skinny girls in magazines and people comparing me to them. I don't want to be the skinny girl. I want to be the muscular one who can pull her own weight (literally and figuratively) in the weight room with all of the guys. I have been working out for a year now, and weight lifting intensely for about 10 months all on my own. I also have been teaching cardio kickboxing classes to students at the college I attend and love it. My goal in life is to be a high school teacher as well as a sports coach for all teams...including FOOTBALL STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING!
Nah, I'm totally screwed up right now. Haven't been able to train for weeks. I was ill quite a time. But I'm looking forward to get it going again next week.
kinda like yourself, i tend to enjoy lifes leisures a little bit here and there.. haha. if i do decide to compete one day, it'll be about a lean 30 lbs or more from where im at now. you could totally compete in figure or bikini next summer if you wanted to tho. i know you'd be more than ready for it.
thanks! well if you just started doing the olympic stuff i think you'll be happy within a few weeks. generally those are the major lifts that can put on some really impressive size if you do them right. good for you tho! i never see girls doin the "real" stuff. my progress is comin along nicely =] im trying to gain 1 lb per week thru new years. so far im 4 weeks in and 4 lbs up! are you interested in competing?
Lol...the college part doesn't sound so bad;) Yup, sounds like you have it figured out then, it's that time for change again! I've been alternating between heavy and light (low and hi reps) each week for a while now, seems to have helped me stick with one plan a little longer? -CK
Absolutely, change it up!! Pushing harder isn't always the answer....smarter will always work though! I can't go for more than 2 months with the same routine?? How long have you been using the same training plan? -CK
