the fact that you're an amazon. I'm only 5'11''. Of course I'm secure with my height. It's actually on the taller scale for men. Of course 99% of guys who are 5'10" or 11" will claim they are 6 foot, just like 99% of women will claim they are 130 lbs if they're really 142.

training is going well this week. i've busted through plateaus that I thought were set in stone when I was 24 or 25. strange. I'm getting stronger all the time and I'm almost 30!

yeah, I'm taking a wild guess on myself too. I'd like to think mine is 12 or less. I know it's not much more.

hey, what method did you use for bodyfat percentage calculation? i used a method whereby you measure the neck, waist and I think it was the hips also. I did so accurately and this chart told me I'm 17% bodyfat and I KNOW that ain't right, lol. I might be 12-13 but I'm nowhere near 20% bodyfat. I need an accurate indicator.

you didn't offend. i just wanted you to elaborate since you're obviously doing something right. I understand how one can suffer in the gym with no carbs. been there, done that. I'm on more of a targeted ketogenic diet now so in advance of a workout, I try to eat at least half of the calories I anticipate burning in the form of carbohydrate since from what I've read, the body utilizes carbohyrate for half of the calories burned during hiit training or weight training.

what would carbs do for me? I do eat them to some degree, especially in advance of high intensity or resistance training.

what do you mean by "feel better in the gym". I feel great in the gym. my right hip-socket is just now getting sore because 14 hours ago I was leg-pressing 700 lbs. I used to lift real heavy. I was pressing 1100 pounds for reps easy. I could handle the weight with excellent form but my joints pay the price later and become more easily inflamed in future workouts, even with a lighter workload.

you look like you could manage 200lbs alot better than me since you're 6 foot 2. I'm in a pretty calorie-deprived state right now, determined to lose weight but not an ounce of muscle so I'm keeping protein intake very high at the same time. I'm going to cut weight until my strength or endurance suffers in the weight room. I presume that won't happen if I don't lose muscle.

I might be able to get down to about 175 (I'm 190 right now) without losing any muscle. I know I have at least that much bodyfat. after all, my lower abs are not hardly visible yet. good luck with your goals. you're already a specimen.
