I started working out as a teenager as a way to put on size in that I was very skinny. I tried protein shakes and eating massive amounts of food, but it was not until I began weight training that I started to see the results I truly wanted, the rest of course is history.
Why I Love It:
It is very relaxing, it helps me to connect with my body and process my thoughts. It helps me to stay balanced and in great shape. I love having lots of energy and feeling great all the time.
How I Stay Motivated:
By continuing to set goals for myself. I am always looking for a new challenge and a way to push myself so that I stay motivated.

Thanks! I think it would be great to hear - esp from a pro like yourself, what the judges are looking for in detail as far as "new" judging criteria- i.e. looks like they still want shoulder caps but softer legs and glutes? Is it true they want to encourage the more muscular girls to cross over to FBB? Also the new posing seems to be much more relaxed as well...no flexing?
Thanks for the support. I did will in Houston 1st twice in my weight class and 2nd in another class with breaking a state record. One meet this year and then it's time to start training for bodybuilding. Hope your training is going well and good luck in your upcoming competition.

Too many times we forget to take into consideration how hard it is for someone to get into such great shape and I just want to make sure that it doesn’t go unnoticed. Way to go!
