When I Started:
Oct, 2006
How I Started:
Around 18 I was fed up with being the skinniest guy around. I have been in and out of the gym (mostly out, though) since I was 17. For the most time I had horrible instructors that made me overtrain, and I completely underestimated the importance of diet. When I finally started to learn what I needed, I was already 30 years old and my schedule was kind of hectic, so going to the gym was not always an option. I consider October, 2006 as the starting point of a new stage, so I take the previous years as a long time of learning.
Why I Love It:
I like feeling the pump, and the soreness the day after. The endorphines aren't bad either.
How I Stay Motivated:
As far as the scale goes up, I stay motivated. However, motivation has been an issue in the past... I'm finding a lot of motivation in bodyspace lately, just seing other skinny guy's progress.
I want the clothes to fit great on me, and to look hot when I take out my shirt. I want to cover the bones with flesh, and correct my posture. I expect to hit the 70 kilos mark(154 lbs) by Spring 2009. I will add mass especially in my traps, delts, and outer sweep of my legs. Combined with my naturally narrow waist, it should give me an increddible appearance.
Long time since the last post. In the meanwhile, I stopped working out for about 3 months, dropped about 12 pounds and lost quite a bit of strength. Now I'm again at my maximum weigth and also maxing in most lifts. Since I reached my goal of getting back to 154lbs of bodyweight (one week...
I’m strongly ectomorph, so keeping low number of sets and having plenty of rest is customary to me. For the first time in a long time I will give a try to a 3-day split, and I will cycle my workouts. I'll train 3 times a week. Focus is in gaining overall mass, but with some emphasis on...
Thanks so much for the kind words and inspiration!!! Sorry for the late reply, I havent been on much this past Fall but back at it for the Winter etc. Thanks also for the bodygroup!
Thanks for the support. You're right, a small gain in the legs could account for a fair portion of the weight. Guess I'll have to be brave and get these chicken legs onto film haha... You keep pushing for that 160, talk soon.
How's it going Nahuel? I see you're cutting a little so has your plan to hit the 160 before month end changed slightly? I think I might need to adjust too, the weights going on but too fast to be all muscle. Wish I could have got results like this in my 20's. I'm gonna put a new progress pic up tomorrow - hope I can see a difference following my 12lb gain?? - and not just on my gut!!! Keep up the hard work!
Nice one Nahuel, another new milestone! I've had a bad couple of days due to a mates bday party on Saturday, can't wait to get back in the gym in an hour and get back on track.
Thanks Nahuel. There's no way the 10lb I've gained in just short of a month is all muscle - Thinking about it I reckon I might need to try and get past 200lb bulk to finally achieve 200lb with a respectable low body fat, what do you think? I'll post some progress pics end of month, 'cause to be honest at the moment I can't see that much difference...then we are always most critical of ourselves right?
Now I'm gonna look see if you've gained any more??
Thanx mate ;) It would be great if you'd be active there on the forum. Its just starting but your experience with fighting skinny-fatness would be great. There are some guys who have that problem. Unfortunately I can only share theory, not practice. Whatcha think??? :)
I live now in Ireland. Moved half a year ago!
How are you doing? How's your life happening? :)
Heyyy, my mate!! Yeah, of course, just haven't been to gym last two weeks because of new job with lots of cardio..
How are you? How's is your progress?
BTW, please check out my site at www.36pounds.com and tell me if you like it ;) I'd appreciate your opinion ;)
Cheers
you were spot on about my old program mate. i showed it to another instructor and he said similar stuff. meeting up with him to put together another program! he’s gonna look at my nutrition and supplements as well
I wouldn't use the term "sloppy". I try to eat correctly and have hit a bit of a plateau as far as my weight goes. I've started tracking other measurements to help me gauge my progress and have definitely seen some gains in other areas.
Nahuel - thanx my friend. I strongly suggest you read my single blog entry. It is a 20 page document containing my complete diet and training program with all the tips and tricks I've picked up during my transformation. Use what you can and create your own success story bud. Your base is not bad and I can truly see a awesome body lurking underneath. And mucho thanx for da vote bud! G.
