My mother was reading articles in Muscle & Fitness Magazines like 15 years ago but, between then and now about 10 years ago I fell off for a long while but,...I'm coming home.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good and look good.
How I Stay Motivated:
8 ways:
1) Looking in the mirror...
2) Feeling that great burn.
3) Seeing someone with a nasty gut...or some other undesirable body part..
4) Seeing someone fit and healthy looking.
5) Knowing that as I get older, I'll be limited to how fit I am.
6) My desire to pass on fitness to my children.
7) Having to answer to Trish.
8) Seeing all that equipment in the gym.

What NY SWAGGER Is Up To:
Oct 27, 2009
NY SWAGGERupdated Fit Status "...water, oatmeal, bananas, almonds, white tuna, water, grilled chkn, brocolli, pull ups, lean steak, crunches, spinach, water, knee raises."
My Goals are varied. Lose fat weight, Gain muscle size and definition, lose the keg and get a six pack, gain power, improve health, stay fit, avoid injury, please my eyes.
My goal right now is to get down to 190 and then I'll see if I want to go any further. (Scratch that. Goal change: I think I'll have to get down into the low 180 range before I see the definition in the abs that I want to see.)
On diet only, I've been down to 182.5 two years ago from 230-235 and I let myself go back up to 226. Maybe I didn't like how skinny I looked...I'm still not sure why I didn't maintain.
My focus and drive is totally different now. I have the mentality of the physique fiend that I used to be in High School...actually, I have it worst/better than that, relatively speaking.
I've made significant progress this time around and I plan to continue and see a different physique in the mirror in a year.
What's funny is that I'm not into taking pics of myself. I look in the mirror everyday and I get on the scale everyday.
Already, at 205, I've dropped 21lbs, I see more definition in my forearms, triceps, biceps and delts. My dress shirts are tighter in the upper lats. My stomach is smaller and stronger. I even see a bit a definition there and my waist is definitely smaller.
whats up man, im in the mist of a 22 week workout program that will be finished in Nov of this yr. i couldnt stay true to my first goal of april due to a car accident but im back at it now shooting for jan 1 09
yeah im getting there. it sucks because i had to take a month off due to a car accident and i broke my wrist....sucks ass really, but now im back on it though im 100% again
