I wanted to build muscle and get in shape for college baseball. Now fitness is a critical piece of being a soldier.
Why I Love It:
I like seeing the change in my body. Watching muscle grow and become more defined is an emotional high.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have yet to reach a point where I feel I look good. I keep working towards that point, battling my weight and my diet constantly. I keep trying new things and hoping to find something that works well. Until I reach the point where I'm comfortable I will keep trying new things.
While deployed to Iraq I want to work on dropping my body fat while adding some symmetry to my frame. I'd like to develop a physique that is worthy of a photo shoot. Eventually I'd like to make a leap into the fitness world as a certified personal trainer and possibly a fitness model. It's a long road ahead, but being deployed leaves a lot of time to work on that goal. Hopefully I can commit to it like I need to.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%

So due to my shoulder injury I haven't been able to lift like I want to for the past few weeks. I have however, dedicated more effort to cardio and diet, which has given me some good results. Today though, begins the process of rebuilding what I had before the injury. I'm going to get back on...
Try intervals on treadmill to speed up your run time. Thats how I did it. Also add incline from 2-6%. I don't know where your at but Ft. Bragg had a ton of hills. I hope it helps. ;)
Hi Nick! Thank you for the friendship invite, I appreciate it. I see you are military, so thank you also for serving our country. Best wishes on your training - love the goal you have!
