Here Iam towards the end of my deployment in Iraq with the Army. With 7 weeks left of the tour, I attacked the chow hall with a vengeance! I was popping out of my seams. I had lost some friends and I think I was depressed and ate too often and much.

I'm About to run a 10 miler, this is prior to discovering CrossFit.

STILL, this is difficult to look at, I just wanna crawl underneath my bed and not come out. Pics are deff motivating. How did it get this far? and I think I look good!! CRAZY!

Its so difficult to look at this, its hard. Considering I was 222 a year ago. Maybe its a good thing I never took pics one year ago, I may have not started in fear of never making it this far.

I dont have much complaint on my legs, still some fat, but I realize MOST of my fat is abdominal and around the waist/lower back. Decent legs?

As far as my legs go, its the ONE thing I do like right now. Until 2 months ago I NEVER tarined legs, now I LOVE it! Not too shabby, any comments?

I wish I had taken pics a year ago when I was 40 pounds heavier!! Its just amazing how stubborn my abdominal fat is, ugghh..incredibly frustarting.

Ok, this is a back pic, 10 days since my last one. Its not tooo much diff! However, I'm still having body image issues and feel as tho my "other" pics from today dont show much progress in a month. Plus today's pics were taken first thing in morning on an empty stomach!! haha (unlike other pics in the P.M.)

Well, once again, progress is slow but coming along. I still have not found the workout/eating balance. Still unsure how many claories and cardio to do per day. Looking to lose wieght right now, not add a ton of muscle.
