The motivation, and discipline this guy has is inspirational and motivates me, and I know patience is a virtue. but I want to look just him withing the year or two! Great job jhyaduck!
Ha, well it took me all of the 10 years to get to where they are now. :p They are 17" in a very lean state, they were closer to 18" last year. I don't know they just grow over time, most the size comes from heavy chest and back compounds.
Consider that I started with a max of about 245, I'd say 2 years. Make sure you hit low reps and heavy weights. 8-15 reps won't get you there quickly. Save that for future periodization when linear progression stops. The trick then is to alternate heavy and light days. Good luck.
