How I Started:
I was physically active throughout elementary and high school. After college I gained weight and started going to the gym. My body responded well and I was told I should compete. The rest is history.
Why I Love It:
I have a Love/Hate relationship with training. When life is good, I love to train and it's like breathing. When stressd it becomes a chore and I have to make myself train b/c all I want to do is eat and look at TV!
How I Stay Motivated:
A family history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity. Going to various websites and looking at fitness/figure physiques.
Remembering where I came from and how hard I had to work to get back in shape.
BB Accomplishments:
Walking back on stage after 8 yrs. of not competing. Loosing 38 pounds in 13 weeks.

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
It's easier when you have someone to train w/ especially on those days when you just don't feel like training. My training partner gives me lots of encouragement on those days I'm dragging.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Sometimes it's annoying and unnecessary in my opinion. No.
Well, I'm half way through the week and things are going well. I'm on my 3-day split w/ the weights and getting better and better w/ the bleachers/sprints. This morning was my 2nd session of the bleachers/sprints for the week....this time I had to do two set at a time...so still a total of...

Trying to shoot for one in Durham the promoter has not got back with me yet so that will be the primary one or one in Greensboro depending on my progress. There is a greensboro show scheduled in June. I am glad i got you back because the last time i chatted w/ you we were talking about quincy roberts and i lost you lol.

Hey there. I haven't really trained since the nationals. Just taking a break to recharge. I haven't really been watching the diet. I plan to start back training this coming week. I'll be keeping the offseason diet clean this time. Got to be shredded in 2010.
