When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
I used to be really skinney, but then I was 'depressed' for a couple of years. I packed on about 40 lbs, until I couldn't stand to look at myself. I started to make some important decisions with my life, including being healthy (mentally and physically).
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel proud of myself, I love the all around changes it makes.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing how far I've come and not wanting to go back...

Goal (Long):
March, 2008
I used to be skinny and toned, but then I moved across the country and felt, shall we say, 'down'. This is the first time I have ever gained weight, and the first time I have struggled with my eating.
I am moving again in June, south to Cali. I want to look and feel good about myself BEFORE I move, so that I can end this downward spiral.
I want the tone, sexy, confident, independent, happy self back.
And I will get it...

So, I didn't get a chance to update my bodyspace before I went to New England for a month. But I made my goal!! I'm still going to work at getting a little more definition in my muscles, but I am very pleased with my results. It feels kind of funny to look back and realize that I lost 25-30...
Congrats on your success! My new goal is to drop BF from ~16 to ~12, maybe adding a couple pounds of muscle along the way. Started lifting again and am trying to concentrate on Legs, good thing I'm highly energized!

(thanks very much for getting back!)
Congrats to you and your dog! Would you happen to have any pics to share? My pup is an Australian Shepherd mix. Generally pretty docile and very protective, she tends to get "frisky" when there's new people or dogs around.

yes i am that guy. Your on my friends now so you will be a victim! Fact of The Day: The spinal cord is less then two feet in length and is the same diameter as your index finger, yet it contains over 10 billion nerve cells.
hey, was just reading your profile stuff, congrats on getting off drugs, speaks volumes about your strength and drive, your progress pics are amazing to way to go!
How is your week going? Things are moving along a bit too fast for me. Trip to Dallas could have yielded better pics, but I seem to busy to properly upload what I did get. In other news, I am headed back to the weights at the end of next week, to heck with docs/injuries!
Best to you!
