Goal (Long):
Well here we go another year and the usual injusry set backs. I competed in 06 and 07, this year I am just getting over a prolasped disc which I am treating and rehabilitating myself. I start my diet this week.
Goal is to lose 28lbs after being completly inactive for 8 weeks due to injury. Lets do it
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
30% fat, 30% carbs and 40%. This i do for the next four weeks, these ratios i will then change on a 4 - 5 day basis. maintaining lean body mass is key to fat loss. LOSE muscle your thyroid down regulates and your diets finished. Us natural bodybuilders have to always look to way of tricking our metabolic process, staying naturally anabolic by using changed ratios of macro nutrutrients. Bit like the reasoning behind Dan Duchaines Body Opus, 5 days into a diet your body is going big time catabolic, so change the ratios got anabolic(naturally!) from increased carb intake then drop down 2 days in, back to low carb. Keeps that endocrine system working perfectly. many athletes suffer from ESS (euthroid sickness syndrome) this is the tired, exhausted, overtraind athlete whos body just cant take any more. You dont want that30% fat, 30% carbs and 40%. This i do for the next four weeks, these ratios i will then change on a 4 - 5 day basis. maintaining lean body mass is key to fat loss.
