How I Started:
Ever since I was a child, I always loved to work out with my older brothers. All of my sisters are 5'3" and under and my brothers are 6 foot and over; me being 5'9" I just loved to do it and it was always nice to out lift friends of my brothers. I got out of it in my later teens, but when I met my husband who is a personal trainer, I have gotten back in to it and want to become very fit with 10% body fat. The hard part is going to be maintaining my lifts and the weights; I know that getting down to 10% BF I more than likely won't be able to lift what I can lift now, but we shall see.
Why I Love It:
I love working out, and especially hanging out with other people who like to be fit. I have always wanted to go to a Bodybuilding contest, especially the NPC that always comes to Atlanta, but I have never gone because I want to be fit and show a little more skin when I go, but I have never gotten that far.
How I Stay Motivated:
My parents are in their 50's and look so old and are about 50lbs over weight. I want to be the older woman who is 50 and look like I am in my late 30's or early 40's. I love life and my family and want to live life to the fullest and do it healthy and be active.
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost 30lbs since august of 2004!

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
ASK QUESTIONS!!! Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I think their is always a benefit because you have someone there with you who can push you to the next level. It's always nice to have a spotter just in case...BUT if you have a person who is your workout partner who goes to the gym just to talk, then kick them to the curve honey, because your not achieving anything. I wanted to make burgers tonight but instead of making beef or turkey burgers I made chicken burgers...and man were they yummy...all i mixed in with the ground chicken was 2 palms full of Italian bread crumbs and a packet of the ranch dressing packets...and I cooked them for about 5 mins on...
I just thought that I would drop you a line to tell you that my wife, and your friend (bodyspace: judimax) is having a birthday on Saturday April 5th and is turning 48.
