When I Started:
How I Started:
I really got into lifting after my first child - wanted to get rid of the fat and get in great shape for my wedding. Now it's after baby number 2 and this time I've ended up a scrawny little thing :(.
Why I Love It:
I've always loved exercise - I was a ballet dancer for 15 years, and have often lifted weights along the way. I love the rush you get after a great workout and seeing those weights get heavier and heavier. It's also the best stress relief I've ever found and perfect "me"time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Working out is easy for me cos I love it so much, eating clean on the other hand is more of a battle...I try remember my end gaols and how stoked I am at the muscle gains I've already made

What Mumof2 Is Up To:
Feb 11, 2009
Mumof2 changed Body Fat from 13% to 18%, a gain of 5 percentage points in 320 days
I really want to gain muscle - not sure what an actual amount weight wise would be. Maybe 4 kg worth? Is that realistic? lol I just want to get a lot bigger. I also will need to cut the bodyfat % down a bit further so I can see these abs I'm working hard at creating. To do this I'm lifting as heavy as I can, and trying hard (not always succeeding :( ) to eat clean. I want those abs popping by summer, so I have about 12- 16 weeks to get a move on.
I have lots of stretched skin too! I weighed 209 when I delivered my first daughter(20 yrs ago). Over time, adding muscle and proper lotions really help the look of the skin.
