I was introduced to bodybuilding by a friend back in college. He taught me how to lift. I was not an athlete in high school, so it was all new to me. I immediately fell in love with the changes it made and of course the attention you get when your 'lookin good'.
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
When I see progress, it keeps me going to the gym even when I don't feel like it. Having had success in the past, also helps me to overcome the frustration of seemingly futile efforts. Eventually it pays off.
BB Accomplishments:
When I started lifting I had 12" biceps, a 31" waist, and 14" calves, with a 38" chest. Granted, I weighed about 168lbs..and am now 204 at 20% BF. I had a lapse in 2003 when I gained a huge amount of weight..up to 252lbs. Down to 204, I hope to eventually loose the belly, keep the chest and arms, and finally meet my abbs for the first time!
