***Note:Realistically I started in Jan. 2008 and could not stay focused and motivated. I made every excuse known to man and had little to no success at losing any weight. So I started again in Jan. 2009 - working out at the campus rec with a buddy after suffering joint pains and feeling lethargic and fatigued all the time. My doctors found no serious medical conditions and recommended changing my eating habits and getting more exercise.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling energized after a long hard workout and knowing that my quality of life is improving. I actually feel happier and more alive!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have 2 young grand kids and I want to be able to RUN and play with them at the park and on the beach.
BB Accomplishments:
Stay Tuned, more to come!!!!! :D

Trying to be better today than I was on yesterday means I don't have time to compete with you or anyone else because I have all the competition I need.

Here I am praying to lose 20lbs in 4 months (5 actually - I f'ed off this 1st month, until now)...but if this guy can lose 70 in just 12 months then so can I and who knows maybe by April 2010 I will be the 40 and over transformation of the week :-) just another goal to look forward too!
Just read her story how she tore her ACL and you'll see why she is an inspiration....It takes a strong person to admit their weaknesses and to persevere through the pain.
I will be completing my degree in May of 2010 then moving on to starting a new career.

Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
Exercising is great way to relieve stress and get rid of depression. My overall appearance has changed because my posture has improved and I have more energy and excitement about life.
I have a new goal...2lbs per week. If I can just manage to drop 2 per week from now until April that will be 52lbs lighter and even if I only lose 1lb a week or .8lbs a week I will still be at 185lbs by my birthday so I KNOW I CAN DO THIS! My level of motivation just soared through...
Nice job of dropping weight this past month. I think that these are the toughest for us because of all of the holidays (ie. good holiday food! lol). Gratz on getting closer to your goals girl! Hopefully we can both reach them soon.
HEy i still use the wheybolic extreme 60 from GNC. i use it becaus eit give you more of your bcaa amino acids and get into your system a little quicker but your diet must be on the T if you wanna see amazing results with this product. Ill use it 1 time a day with either one scoop or 2 scoop.
