How I Started:
I played sports throughout high school: cross country, swimming, and field hockey; and with each of them we were required to lift weights 2x a week. It was then I got hooked! When I started college and I had more time during the week to focus on my workout and diet I really kicked things into high gear. I am still not quite where I want to be, but am getting there day by day.
Why I Love It:
It's an escape from the daily grind and it makes me feel so much better for the rest of the day-since I workout early mornings
How I Stay Motivated:
for me it isn't really about staying or getting motivated to workout. It is a part of my daily life now-its routine.
I want to live a long and healthy life and bodybuilding allows me to do that. I have no intention (as of now) to compete, but I love the sport and the way it makes me feel. I want to be able to enjoy life in my later years to the same magnitude that I do today and lifting weights combined with the appropriate diet will allow me to do that.

I'm training for 1/2 Ironman Triathlon, so I'm on the bike, in the pool, or on the road for anywhere from 1-3 hours a day with one day of complete rest (no cardio or weights)

Haha, I'm glad to hear you liked them, and thanks for the kind words. Training was going well up until the end of last week when I pulled a muscle in my upper back really badly... no lifting for the past week so I'm going slightly insane, lol. How's your training going?
Grape was like cough syrup to me. I got a nice deal off eBay on 4 of the large tubs of Lemonade for like 150 shipped and was all over it. Just finishing the last one and need to find some more, cheap!
Hi Doodi! Thanks for stopping in. This is my 12th day on keto and I am loving it. I have had a couple days where my energy is sapped, but it's getting better. This a.m.'s back workout was awesome - loads of energy and a great pump! Thanks for checking in. I'm sticking w/ keto as long as I can. No blood sugar issues. Love it!
