I always worked out, but I did it at a leisure pace. This didn't help my body improve fast enough but I slowly built up my endurance. I knew I needed to change some more but didn't have enough motivation for it.
When I actually decided to get into Bodybuilding, it was inspired by an a person that I met. He was a cancer survivor that chose to be a Bodybuilder to get even with life. He inspired me to create a better and healthier body for myself and to help influence others to live healthier fitness lifestyles.
And then I met more wonderful people like Gina Osterly (who everyone knows in the Fitness world)! She has given me motivation, support and advice. She has become one of my special friends and she cares for so many people. If you haven't already, add her to your friends list! She's an awesome person! Love Ya G!
And I met Matthew (aka BB2K) who became another wonderful friend and has given me encourage, motivation and advice.
Friends like them don't come into my life too often and I'm very grateful that they are in my life and helping me on my Fitness Journey.
Why I Love It:
I love looking in the mirror and watch my body change. I love having tons of energy and feeling of well being. And all of the wonderful comments from my family and friends helps me stay focused. But most importantly, the way my Husband looks at me, he's got that sparkle in his eye that I haven't seen in awhile, LOL! :o)
How I Stay Motivated:
My Husband. Family and friends. When people tell me how great I look, it makes me smile and helps me stay focused.
BB Accomplishments:
Last year, I lost 35lbs in about 5 months. This year I got promoted in my job and was working long hours. I also became ill for a few months while I was working. In short, I gained most of my weight back so I'm forcing myself to get back on track and have started a new Fitness Journey with my Husband. I'm striving to lose 2 inches off my waist September 30. My Goal by the end of the year is at least 30lbs.

This was Me for the last few years. I got tired of looking like this and decided to change my life.
I have many Fitness Goals. I set up short term goals that I can accomplish every week which helps condition my body for my long term goals.
Short Term Goals is to body fat and tone up my muscles.
Long Term Goals is to get pregnant by 2010 and be able to compete in a Bodybuilding Competition (and WIN 1st PLACE) sometime in the future and be able to do some Fitness Modeling.
I finally got my Bowflex and it took us about 10 hours total to put this thing together. Whew! That was a workout in itself. So many boxes and the instructions were confusing. Good thing there were pics in the manual.
I've been using it this week and I tell ya, it works Great so far! I'm...
I see you have had positive results since we last talked by PM. It is great to see your efforts are continuing to increasingly pay off with positive results. Stay true to what you want for your health. The effort will always make you happier than the easy (lazy) path of not caring about yourself!
Hi Jesse, how are things going? I tried clicking on your fitness journal, but the link doesn't work. I see that you want to lose 2 inches from your waist by the 30th. I wish you the best in reaching that goal!! I myself am still trying to see my abs. Haha.
Well, its hard for me to explain but here is an article on it http://www.bodybuilding.com/fu n/par30.htm
Or you can email Chuck Rudolf at chuckierd@aol.com and ask him. He set my diet up for me a long time ago and it works VERY well. They have a free e-book over at www.scivation.com you can download it and it has EVERYTHING you newed to know. My diet is from this book and it rocks. Trust me, carb loading every 18th meal does a killer job.
yep all moved to the mountains. Boy I thought I lived in a small town.
Training is good back into the swing of things and I am at about 90% now, still have to watch what I am doing but its ok.
Loved your blog on wheat germ, had bought some in the grocery store today & was trying to see if other people were using it. Wanted to try & add it as a coat for my chicken. love chicken & fish but miss adding the nutty flavor, Hoping that this will do the trick:)
SO sorry to hear about that...there's been a LOT of crap going on here too-everywhere I guess. Well you're getting better so I'm sure you're well on your way to Normalville'.
Take care hun!!
Don't worry about missing the gym. Just work on getting better and that will take care of everthing. I just got back to the gym after 3 weeks. HAd to move and work been so busy!! Plus I've been a bit under the weather myself!!
