Thanks to all of you for your comments, however please do NOT PM me to carry on a conversation with you if you are a MALE looking for a DATE. I am married, happily. After my son was born, I wanted to do something to lose my "baby weight". I had always been athletic, but never consistently. I started taking Jazzercise Classes and loved it! Then I became a certified instructor in 1997. When my husband and I married last year, I got serious about lifting (he's a body builder and HOT! He is also on BB.com- SWPOE- if your curious!). Completed a Triathalon and decided that endurance sports are NOT for me! Hey, I have a story for the grandkids someday right??? I chose MUSCLE!!! Onward through the pain!
Why I Love It:
Once I saw some muscles poking through the fat layers, I was HOOKED. Bought a bowflex and started a home gym. I have since started working out more diligently at 24hr. My diet has been terrible over the last year and it has been holding me back. I have turned it around with CLEAN eating!
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to look HOT for my husband, he is my world and I want to make him proud to be with me. Also, I love the way I feel when I work out. Wow- what a great natural drug! I just need to remember to take one bite of the elephant at a time. I finally have my diet under control and now I just need to give it time and work my butt off to beat the fat!
BB Accomplishments:
Triathalon finisher, I can do BOY pushups now!!

Ok folks, time to get SERIOUS! My goal is 17% body fat OR LESS in 90 days. I have recruited Rae (Trainwithrae) to help with my diet and exercise. I know I can do it!!!!!

Next goal, BABY!
Goal (Long):
Right now I am pregnant so I am working with a registered dietician and trainer (my hubby) to make SURE I am in tip top shape to have our baby. I also want to make sure I give my baby the BEST nutrition possible so it can come into this world curling dumbbells! I am expecting to gain between 25-30 lbs and will have it ALL off and back to my pre pregnancy weight of 125 BY April 2010.
My touble zones are my butt and thighs (Duh, I'm a woman!). I would like to eventually do fitness modeling!! With the help of a talented nutrionist, I have learned the way! I am LEAN and CLEAN- Getting better every day! There are so many women on this site who truly inspire me and I would like to eventually do the same! I hope to have the physique of a fitness model and give Pam Anderson a run for her money!!!
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
I LOVE my gym!!! If I am feeling down, I just go there. it is my "cheers". Sometimes when I am pressed for time, I will just workout in my home gym. What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
CLEAN gym is a MUST.. I avoid gym's with outdated or OLD and UNSAFE looking equipment.. I worked out at one in Tyler Texas (oh yes, it was SCARY!) and the rack almost fell on me! YIKES!

All the best for the pregnancy! You're right about the diet...and that is always the hardest part for me...I think I try to be too strict in my diet and then set myself up for failure. Looking forward to watching you spring back after your little dude is born!!
