Yeah I read it off the machine but I also wear a sweatshirt..some pretty good layers to really work up a sweat and Ill usually go to 550 and call it 500 but they are just tellin you in general thats what the average person should shed..

For a fat girl yes lol..plus its easier on my knee..I can get a good 500 calorie burn on it no problem

I do the eliptical..but lately I started doin that then the bike to cool down my knee..I messed it up back in 2000 playing softball lol
