Me in my first ever bikini, 185lbs. I have way, way, way too much body fat. I need to lose all of it. Very unhappy with the way my body looks and feels. I need a change and know I can do it. Just need help and to stay true to my goals.
First ever bikini. Boy oh boy, look at that stomach. I have had two C-sections to deliver my boys into this world and this is what I am left with. Plus the fat around my armpits and sagging boobs, aren't comfortable either.
My goal is to be healthy and lose the fat that is dragging me down.
Goal (Long):
I am a dancer. I been dancing since I was four years old. All through childhood I was a very fit ballerina, tap and jazz dancer. As I got to junior high school I stopped dancing and went into the sport of cheerleading. I continued to cheer throughout high school, but was still one of the heaviest girls on the squad. I stopped cheer and dance for my first year in college then restarted dancing after switching colleges. But the dancing didn't help to get my body the way I wanted. After school, getting married and having two boys my body has sustained a weight. I want to lose all this fat that is dragging me down and want to get completely healthy. I have lost my mother and five other family members to health related issues within the last seven years. I don't want to be number 8!!!
I have been working out at the gym off and on for three years. And no changes other than seeing little changes in my arms and or hips. But nothing to really get excited about.
My husband and I finally seen that this is really the time we need to change our life, fix our health and transform...
Right now I am focusing on cardio. I do lift. But I think my main problem right now is cardio. So I am trying my hand at running. Starting out slow and seeing what I can do. I would love to be able to run for 20-30 minutes straight one day. But right now, I can barely run 2 minutes.
If you are interested in ridding yourself of extra bodyfat and getting into great shape I suggest you check out Body for Life. It is a 12-week total body transformation program that gives you a great nutrition plan along with both weightlifting and cardio routines. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. Let us know if you would like more info.
