Background

When I Started: Jan 2008
HOW I STARTED:

Played football for 14 years as far as semi-pro. After realizing my football career wasn't going to be heading any further I still loved the gym and I was always interested in natural bodybuilding!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the thought of dedication and in this sport you need to be very dedicated!

I do a power/hypertrophy routine, 2 days a week power sets/reps and 3 days a week hypertrophy sets/reps. I do 20 - 30 min of very low intense cardio after each session.

supermanjow Yeah I want to keep myself around 20 lbs of contest condition. I put too much junk on my frame and I'm beginning to see it. I put on some mass, but the fat was covering up some areas I should have been putting more effort into. May 2, 2011 2:49pm

dsalazar16 I got a left shoulder and chest injury while bench pressing. Ever since, I have been feeling pain. I took a 2 week break to recover and it was ok for the 1st week. I was lifting lighter weight/more reps but I began to feel discomfort again. Last week I took another break from lifting adn I want to return but Im worried it is going to happen again. This is frustrating cause I haven't lifted with the same intensity I used to lift. what can I do? I need advice Nov 29, 2010 5:15pm
