Started casual visits to the gym in my first year of university. A friend started getting serious and I decided to join him.
Why I Love It:
The pump, endorphin release with a strong cardio session. Also feel stronger, faster and better in general. It's also nice being a part of a physical elite.
How I Stay Motivated:
progress pics, updating my workout log, listening to Limp Bizkit in the gym and watching 300!
- Take action to fix my shoulder (I think I have a rotator cuff injury). This has caused an asymmetry between my left and right lats. Deadline - Aug 10 - Cycle off pre workout stimulant supps and only use these on leg day or days where I have no motivation. Deadline - Aug 15 - Eat clean and consume less than 50 grams of chocolate per day (excludes dark chocolate - long live mountain man!). Deadline now. - Drink more water. Deadline now. - Develop an ab routine as opposed to my current ad hoc abs arrangement. Deadline now. - Take steps to improving symmetry in my lats. Deadline now. - Take progress pics (including all weak points) by Aug 15 and upload them.
