When I Started:
Sep, 1993
How I Started:
I guess I got started around 5th grade. Doin' stuff that today I'd call calistetics that I'd pick up from watching movies an T.V. shows, even what I would say was deep meditaion from Bruce Lee flicks an ninja movies. Although lifting weights didn't come about til High School and I started playin' football. I never got be the biggest guy but the motavation was always there.
Why I Love It:
Why not love bodybuilding? For myself its the control I have over my body,an testing my will power. It changes constantly sometimes I win sometimes my appetite wins.
How I Stay Motivated:
Magazines,T.V. even friends at times, but most of my motivation comes from talking to people that admire my will to do what I do, but I'll always let people know they can do it to, and the look on their faces is all the more motivating.
BB Accomplishments:
In '02 an '03 I trained for a police physical and slimed down to a muscular 195lbs. from a heavy 260lbs. And to add, last summer I got back down to 195lbs. after being out of work an not working out for a while.

Goals:
Main Goal:
Compete
Goal (Overall):
Reachin' 4 that SuperHero, Natural Freak physique.
Goal (Long):
I've been a comic book fan for as long as i can remember. Wnen I was younger I wanted to be like the Hulks, Wolverines,& Batmans, but as I got older an saw the Zanes, Schwarzeneggers, an Colemens I could see where the reality was. In high school I was in the gym for football but eventhough I was on the feild my heart was in the gym. And when I found that one could make make a living I knew that bodybuilding was something that one day I'd like to pursue. Anyway, at 31, now when I see the comix i notice the matureity in the artists an depth of the characters an the even clearer resemblance in hard core gym rats like ourselves,I guess gettin' stronger an shapeing gods gift is definitly something I'd like to reach for. I'm in it 4 life.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 55 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
5%
Upcoming Contest:

Wow Omar, that was a lovely message thank you. All I can do is push myself until I've achieved "realistically" what I've set out for. Sometimes goals really are just fantasies though, so we need to be realistic with our genetics and individual situations. Good luck to you and your natural freak physique, I bet you can!

Thanks MR! :) Love your long term goal statement - WW (DC version not TV series) was always mine - specifically this incarnation (except for the hair lol!): http://www.wonderwoman -online.com/albums/comic/v2/a2 2.html Thought Supergirl would be a good starting point - lol! ;)

Will definitely be doing a full out diary of contest prep...how I felt, what I ate and how I looked every week. I hope to give some helpful info back to this site bc I would have been lost without it in the beginning...
