Fisrt i always admired the physique of The Rock(now Dwain Johnson) and Bruce lee, and my step-father/Sensei(who has the best genetics i had ever seen,full muscles,no bodybuilding rules but had the best physique i still seen to this day, and the fastest guy i seen
STARTED WORKING OUT THE SUMMER OF 03 WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANYTHING MY NUTRITION WAS TUNA/TOTAL CEREAL/AND SLIMFAST BARS 3X A DAY. I STARTED MY BODYBUILDING ROUTINE IN AUG 2007.YEAH IM A ROOKIE!!BUT A GOOD ONE MY FIRST COMP WAS JUNE 2008 .Always huskey as a kid. tired of being picked on by family and friends. Depressed as a youngin poor and all. SO I NEEDED A CHANGE. I STARTED JOGGING ROUND THE BLOCK WITH MY BOYZ,We all had the same goal to change our shape but we were the only 3 dudes IN THE PARK LATE 12-3 AM, WORKING OUT IN PARK.YOU NAME THE EQUIPMENT we USED IT. BARS, SWINGS, BLEACHERS, SIDEWALKS. ETC.. IT WAS A JOB FOR us. we DID IT AGAIN EARLY IN THE MORNING. we MADE UP MY OWN EXERCISES we KNEW NOTHING ABOUT OR SEEN ON LATE NIGHT INFOMERCIALS. TRIAL AND ERROR BABY IS MY MOTTO. IT WAS EITHER WORK HARD OR LOOK LIKE THE AVERAGE MAN... I WAS THE MOST RIPPED DUDE ON THE BLOCK AT AGE 15 AND THRU HIGH SCHOOL. I DIDNT PLAY NO SPORTS. BUT TRACK AND MARTIAL ARTS. A CHURCH IN MY HOOD LET ME USE THEIR OLD GYM IN A BASEMENT. SO IT STARTED FROM THERE UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GET MONEY FOR A GYM WHERE MY WHOLE LOOK ON TRAINING CHANGED FOREVER IN 07 WHERE I MET LEGENDS( MIKE APPS,JAMES(BOBO)EASTON, AND JACKIE CHAMBERS,Lee Haney.
I seen life in a whole new way, it got me away from a lot of Ignorant Street involvemt in my area at the time dope dealing,prostitution,fake gang-banging,Lust,Women,just the wrong influence in general. I refused to get involved with that mess(even tho trouble tried to catch up to me) and Just Lift.
SHOUT OUT TO ALL MY FOLKS AT THE GREENVILLE ATHLETIC CLUB FOR PUSHING ME TO THE FULLEST,EVEN THO IM LIKE THE YOUNGEST DUDE IN THE BUILDING YOU GUYS HAVE FAITH IN ME AND IT MEANS A LOT HEARING COMPLIMENTS FORM YA CUZ I KNOW THE BEST ATHLETES CAME OUT THAT GYM: LEE HANEY,DANNY AUSTIN,MIKE APPS,JAMES BOBO EASTON,JACKIE CHAMBERS(MY MENTOR)THANKS FOR PUSHING ME BEYOND THE EDGE TO REACH MY POTENTIAL EVEN THO WE HAVE MUCH MORE WORK TO DO!!!
Why I Love It:
IT CHANGES YOUR ATTITUDE TO ALL SORTS OF ASPECTS OF LIFE, yoU NEED BALANCE IN YOUR LIFE, YOU ACHIEVE GOALS AND YOU LEARN MORE ABOUT YOURSELF EACH DAY. pATIENCE, CONSISTENCY, HARD WORK ETHIC AND ACHIENVING THAT BALANCE. iT CHANGES YOUR WHOLE MENTALITY.IT KEEPS ME OUT TROUBLE,OFF THE STREETS,OUT OF CLUBS/DRUGS/VARIOUS BABYMAMAS(LOL,SERIOUS THO)THE WRONG INFLUENCE..ALL WHERE I COULD OF BEEN BUT GOD'S EYES WATCHES OVER ME. i love reaching new levels of my training cuz people my age now care nothing about how they will look and feel in the future....Fitness to me is an artistic expression of God's creation.
How I Stay Motivated:
Its life,there is no motivation,its either live it or not,I choose to live it,its a part of me and who i am,its not a matter of choice
BB Accomplishments:
The fact that im still blessed to wake each morning feelin better than yesterday/lookin better than yesterday/and able to maintain a healthy full life with all proper functions

this is what happend after weeks of no training and eatin crap after the comp, cuz my stomach cramped trying to eat crap after the contest it literally took 3-4 weeks to feel better and after that this is what happened
Now it begins!!Bigger goals=More work,More dedication

What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
i always look for incline benches/the structure of the dumbells/the leg press/ gotta have a rack and smith machine/...i like it old-school dungeon type of gyms. i hate mega gyms ,i want that place to myself. i want a gym where i can feel comfortable walkin around wit my shirt off without becing accused of lookin like a showoff, I LIKE THAT HIGH SCHOOL GYM FEELIN, YA FELLAS KNOW WHAT IM TALKIN BOUT, WHEN YOU IN THERE TO GET MONEY AND NOTHIN BUT MONEY!!!i always look for incline benches/the structure of the dumbells/the leg press/ gotta have a rack and smith machine/...i like it old-school dungeon type of gyms. i hate mega gyms ,i want that place to ...more

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
100 YARD SPRINTS AND MARTIAL ARTS and calestinics, i do regular cardio in off-season 3-4 days a week./..I DONT THINK THAT THERE IS A SINGLE EXERSICE THAT IS BETTER THAN SPRINTS
Day 1- am. 30-45 minutes of moderate to high intensity cardio/ lots of excessive stretching
Chest/abs 4 hours later/ p.m excessive stretching
Day 2- Legs/ pm. excessive stretching
Day 3- am. 30-45min of cardio/ 1 hour of martial arts and abs
Day 4 - am. 30-45 min of cardio/ Back and biceps...
like with me, im thinkin of doin quads mon, chest tues, rest wed, back thurs, hamstrings fri, and shoulders sat. but with that i only hit bodyparts 1x a week, and i think my chest especially may benefit from 2x a week.
tru. naw i meant like how do your split up your bodyparts. just cause you said that within 5 days you hit most bodyparts 2x. so I'm wondering how you split your bodyparts up.
