I was a freshman in high school when I decided it was time for a change. Weighing 260lbs w/ ZERO muscle, I was really fat and disgusting. I felt horrible. In my gym class we had a push up test half way trough the semester and I could only do 10! I swore by the end of the year I would do more and I did, 60!!! So I started w/ push-ups and sit-ups everyday and lost 30lbs that semester in school. By the time I graduated HS I weighed 205lbs and when I started college I weighed 197lbs and had some abs, and then discovered beer and gained 30lbs of fat by T-giving and now I no longer drink alcohol. I have put on a TON of muscle since then and have been serious for the last 4 years! Now it's time to get RIPPED!

How I Stay Motivated:
Read Bodybuilding.com, Musclemania.com, and remember what I used to look like and never want to return to. Also, getting some responses on here helps out big time! I am not use to being around other guys bigger than me @ my gym so getting feedback from people who are serious about working out is awesome!

Winter workout 2008 is about to change again because I'm joining a new gym that has Hammer Strength equpiment! I'm so damn excited! Gettin jacked in 2008!

I hear you. I didn't work at my job but playing referee with my parents, my wife, my kids, and myself for 2 days was pretty stressfull. I would blame that for my eating but truth is I just endulged!
That's great progress! I am struggling trying to adjust my diet..proteinis fine going from 150 to 200, but the carbs are going from 100g to 225g and I feel lousy!!
Sounds good. How much more do you plan to lose? I was down 19 but 4 nights in Vegas put that back in perspective. I'm toying with taking it off or putting it on. I feel like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde!

The green y is where I work out now, its not far from where I work and it's free for military(I'm in the Army). I would love to go to Bodybuilders but I wouldn't eventhink about it until I put on some size. Thanks again for all the advice
I was looking for a place near clubs and what not, I did hear that most of it is ghetto though, someone told me highland park would be my best bet, what about decent gyms, I'm a YMCA guy now but I may switch if I move up there
I'm thinking about moving to Akron from Canton in a few months, what are some decent places to live up there for some who wnats to be close to the action
