How I Started:
Well, after Christmas leave of 2008 I reached a max weight of 220 LBS. After which I saw myself in some pictures with my shirt off and didn't like anything about that self image. I started to run 2 miles every day and hitting the gym on a somewhat regular basis with only a basic understanding of weight training. With no real modification of my diet and a steady routine I dropped some pounds and body fat. My Wife not soon after started going to aerobics classes in which i joined her a few times. We met our personal trainer from then and started to train with her for the next few months. My wife went back to the states to study for an up coming exam and left me to my twice a day workouts and 20 mile/week runs. I dropped down to 200 LBS. and 12.5% body fat...then she came back and we both slipped up. So now here I am to correct myself.
Why I Love It:
Because I know that a healthy lifestyle typically leads to a longer more satisfying life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing other peoples success stories, magazines and my wife.

To be a lean 200-210 LBS and around 8-10% bodyfat.
Goal (Long):
My goal from now to DEC 2009 is to burn off those layers of fat that keep me from seeing my "hard work" aka true potential. I focus on all the major muscle groups of course and I recently had a personal trainer show me how to isolate and focus on all the accessory muscles. I have a good knowlegde base because of my medical background so I feel that once I reach my goal I can then turn and help to motivate others.
Definately motivating and his PROG speaks for itself. Plus he stood ARM to ARM with J. CUT!!! His Physique is what I'd want to see in the mirror if I competed; only darker...lol
Well here it is after a month of a specified diet and regular cardio/lifting I'm at a Plateau of 15% BF and 208LBS. I think I'll restart my regimen of Tonalin CLA. It's what I was taking (1 pill 3x a day) when I got my BF down to 12.5%. That's also when my wife was gone for a month taking the...
Work and weather permitting I will start running 4 miles a day like I was 2 months ago. Weight training consists of 4-5 days a week:

THURS: bis/tris/forearms
FRI: lagging body parts
SAT and SUN: light cardio (snorkel or hike) with...

Lol...well I don't know about the diehard part. But, if getting lean is your goal then I say it's all about the diet mostly. Anthing that's wonderfully delicious has to go, haha. Your progs are lookin' good....keep the protein intake up and lift heavy to add some lean mass.
Thank you very much! I hear that CA bar is a beast all by itself. Not that any if them are easy! But good for her. Again thank you, make it a great weekend.
Hey there!! Ok...so many questions, lol. Well I take in about 2600 cal a day, spend about 1 1/2 hrs training weights(lots of giant sets) 5 days a week..cardio 30 min a day. (currently training under WeaponX66 on this site....he's awesome!) Take in about 300g protein a day, 300g carbs and 40g fat. Plus LOTS of water. There..did I answer your questions??
