When I Started:
Nov, 2006
How I Started:
Tired of being skinny. Started at about 170 lbs. a year and a half ago. Reading magazines and working out had a positive effect so i stuck with it. Love the feeling after the workout/
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it gives me a sense of personal accomplishment. I remember when I first started hitting 135 on the bench, I felt like finally I can get two plates on the bar. Or when I could finally go wide grip on pull-ups. And then weighted pull-ups. Nobody can take away what you accomplish in the gym and with your body. And the feeling of working out on a Friday or Saturday night when all your friends are getting drunk, I can't explain it. The accomplishment of discipline.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at the top profiles on body space and then looking at myself. Knowing one day I will not only have the body of a disciplined, focused soldier, but also be able to motivate others to do the same.
BB Accomplishments:
When I started out I weighed 160lbs. A major accomplishment for me was when I hit 200lbs. That was my goal all along (not knowing I still wouldn't be satisfied). Also squatting 315 was a big day for me. Lifting 225 was a big day for me.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes it seems easy but it's hard to do to get the after product. But all the hard work, sweats, pain, and tears...It feels good to see the good results. You are looking great as well! :) Keep up the good work!
Great pictures (your transformation is truly inspiring!) and an even better profile. What you wrote shows you clearly a complete man (brains and brawn). Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the comment, Drake! You're making good progress! 10 lbs. of muscle is within reach, you just have to remain focused. Nutrition, exercise and rest.
