When I Started:
Mar, 1999
How I Started:
I was always athletic but never had any size to me. I remember going to the gym and being one of the smallest guys in there at the time and struggling with 135 on the flat bench. I luckily made friends with a guy who had the biggest arms ever and he took me under his wing and taught me all about working out, proper form and how to maximize my potential. I honestly wanted to be that guy on the beach that the guys wanted to be, and the girls wanted to be with. Obviously after ten years of lifting thats all changed...I dont work out for anyone other than myself and I can care less what people think of me, as long as Im comfortable and confident with myself, then thats all that matters...
Why I Love It:
I love the PUMP, I love the confidence that comes with looking good, I like helping people and if I look the part then they seem to take me so much more serious!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by turning all the negative comments into positive motivation. There will always be the "haters" who talk smack because they dont have the determintation or will power to make the effort to look half as good as you do. Instead of making me angry in a negative way, I use that anger and turn it into a form of motivation.
I also have to mention that I log onto bodybuilding.com and it gives me that "excited feeling" that I had when I was just a youngster and started playing with a few weights. I had lost the feeling for a little while and I want to thank EACH and EVERYONE of you on here for bringing that it back to me!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
BB Accomplishments:
I am not on here to brag or to promote myself...however I would like to say that the biggest accomplishment for me wasn't really an accomplishment but a comment from one, 8-time MR. OLYMPIA, LEE HANEY,while I was walking past his booth at the Arnold classic a few years back. He looked at me when I passed his booth, and said " Young man you have got some great tris" and I could barely even say thank you because my heart was pounding soo hard!!!

Ive known Adrain for a few years now. We met in Denver during a bodybuilding show, he wasnt in my class, but when I saw him for weigh-ins my first thought was "theres no way hes natural!" Well, he IS and he gets bigger and more ripped every day the old fashioned way. Hard work, determination, perserverence, and amazing work ethic. Adrain, my brother, you truly do inspire me!!! I wish you nothing but the best!!
WOW...I just read your profile and I have to say that you are one very courageous individual! To go through what you have gone through and still remain positive and push yourself harder every day is remarkable. I am adding you to my inspiration list because I have to be honest, I am not sure that I am as strong as you. Thank you for helping me realize that no matter what we are dealt with in life, if we stay positive and never give up, we can always win! TRUE INSPIRATION!!!
Whey is great but not that ideal for taking right before bed...since it is quickly used by your muscles, i opt for casein protein right before bed. It takes longer to break down and I wake up not nearly as hungry as when I only take whey. What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
Shorts and a tank top...i like to see what im working
Just wanted to share a little information about me with anyone that bothers to read these things . Through the ten years that I have been lifting weights, I have been accused of using steroids and other illegal substances to "enhance" my physique. At first I was like, just...
lol...got it. LARGE QUANTITIES. Think I'll start there. I killed myself in the gym yesterday by doing a TON of incline pushups and a bunch of pullups between sets...then when my upper body was beat I just did a lot of calf raisers. Went home, drank a shake, two hours later ate some good chicken/rice, watched STAR TREK and hit the sack.
Now getup and do it all over again. lol
Dude, I might've jumped out of airplanes and fired weapons everyday, but I think I would draw the line at being a dog handler. You deserve a purple heart for that bro.
hey man I have to stand out front of abercrombie on black friday with my shirt off lol any advice for me to do for this up coming week to make the abs look better? dehydrate or just stay normal? thanks.

That's effen' hilarious. I'll tell you why. Because I live in New York and my gym has a decent amount of 6'2" 170 pound pretty boys. So your comment really resonates with me. I see them vis a vis me in the locker room and think to myself "Eek! I hope THAT isn't what they want". 6'2" 170 pound pretty boys. Haha. My gym has PLENTY of them. Too funny.
well i was training back and bis and chest and tris now i just switched to doing bis and tris and back and chest and then i do legs shoulders etc. so idk lemme know what you think...what about straight bar curls using 3 diff grips? i didnt that b4 and it seemed to be ok but it takes a toll on ur wrists after a while idk hit me up later man
