How I Started:
I have always been interested in fitness but chose to make a heathly change after battling an eating disorder for seven years. I love eating heathly and exercising. I have gotten my personal training certification and am attending college to be a dietican. I only hope to help others who have had eating disorders, suffer from obesity, and other medical conditions or those who simply want to make a change for the better. My goal in life is to really help others. I cant stand watching people struggle, hit rock bottom, and feel that there is nothing they can do to better themselves or their situation. I have plenty of drive and ambition and I want to use that to change the lives of others and through this become a stronger individual and better myself for it! I think we all have potential and if we can dig that out and show what we have got to offer to and for others, who could turn that down? I think when life hurts, and you hate it and are loving it all at the same time thats when you know you are maturing and growing as an individual!
Why I Love It:
It keeps me healthy, focused, strong, and helps me influence my family and friends to take care of themselves. I love to eat clean because of how i feel when i wake up in the morning compared to when I was sick. Weigtht lifting empowers my body and mind. To take yourself to the limit and realize your potential is enlightening and allows you to see that we have no boundaries! If i have learned anything and something i have to remind myself of everyday is that the only limitations are the ones we put before ourselves. Life is only 20% of what happens to you and 80% of how you deal with it. Deal with it positive and you will find yourself happier than you could ever imagine. The world is open and full of opportunity, dont let others who hurt you or use you destroy your goals and ambition, you had those things before them and after them. Know yourself and nothing can hinder your success!
How I Stay Motivated:
By knowing that going back to my eating disorder is an easy way out. But as I have always said I ENJOY A CHALLENGE!
I have just gotten my personal training certification from the ISSA! Wow I am so excited to begin training!I am currently working on another certification through the ISSA as a specialist in performance nutrition. I love to learn and how the knowledge I gain helps me better serve clients and my life. I also am motivated by those around me who incourage me and who have lifted me up when things get there toughest. Im 21 and am excited about life and all my opportunities so how could I not be motivated haha. I also just got a job as a trainer at Ohio State University in their Rec. Center and am moving to Columbus very shortly. I also have a definet intrest in figure and fitness competition and hope to, in the future be in the shape and condition it takes to compete with all the awesome women I have seen out there. Keep yourselves motivated!

Changed this up to begin next week. New diet, new program, new school quarter, new job so we shall see if this goes well. I will be lifting pretty heavy aiming for 3 to 4 sets per exercise and reps ranging from 8-10. the cardio is higher intensity for at least 20 minutes, (my body responds best...
Thanks for the ad, that sounds like a great plan and congrats on your new job. I am not sure what the next step is. I have a new trainer too, I am working hard to gain some size and look a little more rounded. It seems like a big challenge to prepare to compete and learn all that it takes....I admire your determination - you know what you want! Stay in touch! Belinda
