When I Started:
Oct, 2004
How I Started:
After my third child I found myself in Lowe's just about running out the door. I was 180 lbs and totally uncomfortable in my own skin. This is not who I wanted to be for my children or for myself. My self confidence had hit rock bottom!
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong, fit and in control of my life. I like reaching for something and seeing my body react. The more I lose and tone, the more I can see!
How I Stay Motivated:
Other like-minded people. Looking at other people's progress. My kids watching me make time for my body and myself is important to me.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing around 35 pounds so far. It's been a long journey with some stalls along the way, but after I look back - I've gotten this far, I can do it!
143.5 lbs, disappointed - feel like I look better than pic shows :( Just means I gotta keep pushing it I guess. And I ALWAYS have my right shoulder too high in pics! Hope next set in a few weeks shows some improvement (and a little tan)

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Do what you need to do to do your best! I'm not a grunter though... just not my thing.
Why I like this video: I love the whole jari love series. With three kids and a job from home I have to workout at my home gym. This allows me to have a personal trainer without the price and I can add more weight as needed! LOVE IT!
Stardate 5367: I've been on this mission for years, searching for the lost definition of muscle that dodges behind strange jiggling masses of tissues. I feel I am closer now than ever to finding my golden goblet.
LOL... just joshin' ya. So, Today I took a few relaxed pics and put them...
Thanks much for the kind words. Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I am still learning things about body space and did not scroll the bottom to see your comments. Congrats on your progress.
What a great role model and example you are. You talk the talk but definitely walk the walk and I congratulate you on your efforts. Continue to challenge yourself to be the best that you can be during each and every workout and believe in your own inner strength. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you progress in ’08.
You're doing great! Keep up the good work. I am sooo proud of you-it really takes alot of courage to do something as extraordinary as you've done. Best wishes and keep up the good work. God Bless You!
