When I Started:
Jan, 2007
How I Started:
I realized one day things needed to change. I was 5 foot 7 254 pounds, 35% body fat! Something needed to be done and I was tired of being lazy and lacking energy. I was in a HUGE auto accident 10 years ago, and I let that injury get to me to much. I was unmotivated and did not care what I looked like!
Why I Love It:
I love the pump that I get. I have such a clear mind and a sence accomplishment when I am done.
How I Stay Motivated:
Listen to some good music. There is nothing like a little Iron Maiden or some Rammstein to get you motivated before you hit it hard.
BB Accomplishments:
I lost 7 inches off my waist. From a 40 inch to at 33. There is room for improvement but I am getting there!
Ya I have made some big improvements, I took over 3 minutes off my Helen time recently, but I think it was mostly because from the the original time was the first time I did it, also I went from strict pull ups, to kipping... That made the huge difference. Also my cf total keeps getting bigger, my deadlift continues to grow, and I have been working on heavy squats. However I wrecked my knee doing front squats... keep in touch dude!
Last week was crappy so only got a couple in. Hopefully, this week will be back to normal. Although, I did shave 10 minutes off Elizabeth. How about you?
Ah, I did okay. My back was starting to get tight. One reason I hate to row. I was going to take tomorrow off but it's rope climbing day....so I'll be there for sure. How about you?
Exactly, it's hard since most of these workouts are still brand new to me. So still figuring out what my maxes are but we all have to start some where.
I ended up getting 215...which sucks but I actually beat a few of the guys so I don't feel so bad. First time w/fgb though, so I have something to strive toward next time.
Actually it's been really mild....all the snow has melted and I've just been wearing a hoodie. We leave for Florida in a few days and I'm pretty excited about that :)
