My introduction to weight training was as a competitive gymnast, around the age of 14, as an addition to skill training to increase strength.
Why I Love It:
It feels great to start the day with exercise, knowing that I am taking positive steps to maintain my health and wellbeing. Working out gives me a focus and also improves my awareness, and this ultimately makes me a more productive and fulfilled person.
How I Stay Motivated:
What inspires me is the ability to transform the body through what begins as an intent or desire to change. I see a disciplined lifestyle in terms of diet and physical activity as a way to develop personal power in all areas of life. If we can have such a profound effect on our bodies through what begins as a simple intent, I wonder what we may be capable of in other realms of our existance as human beings.
Here is my nutritional intake for last week. Just a mild deficit but I am starting to feel tighter so hopefully it is working.
I'm thinking about starting carb cycling in a couple of weeks. It's been a while since I did something so structured but I feel I might be ready for a new challenge...
Wanted to get the word out!! Been taking these new suppliments. Lot of people do not know about them yet. Go to www.zyleneshedsfat.com Order a bottle of Zylene. No JOKE!! The energy is incredible. Loss 35 pounds of FAT not muscle in 2 1/2 months. Been taking suppliments for a long time and these are unbelievable - AWESOME!
hey, maybe you can help me with this, you seem to know a lot about vitamins-- what foods contain magnesium? i need to get more of it in my diet, and i'd rather do it naturally than through vitamins.
Thanks for the add. There seems to be quite a few former gymnasts on this site. I was a national level gymnast myself. All the hard from gymnastics makes training and dieting seem like cake:) Don't ya think?
