How I Started:
I use to be an avid runner until I broke my ankle skim boarding.. then I pretty much went off the charts in how unactive I was. It's time to get back on the horse and going into my second year of college is a great excuse to shed the freshman 15 lol.
Why I Love It:
Working out makes me feel SO refreshed and more alive. I maximize my day when I do more.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at old pictures of how great I use to look and thinking "wow I wanna be back like that".
I'm working out at Extreme Fitness, and try my hardest to shed 5 lbs by May 23rd, I'm excited to see my statistics on that day. I want to decrease my body fat percentage and increase lean muscle. I will set monthly goals.
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
As soon as I get into my workout clothes I'm ready to go.
I like to watch shows like "the last 10 pounds" and "The biggest loser" to get motivated before going to the gym.

yeah i know what you mean, when i started out everyone was asking me if i lost some weight but the scale was always at the same weight, i dint loose weight i lost fat and gained muscle wich is probably what you are doing, numbers dont count, the mirror is your best friend
