Long story short... I got into shape, go my cert was a trainer, moved didn't work out for 6 months, gained a good amount of body fat, Now I am trying to get into better shape than I was in before.

I want to LOSE 10 lb

I did pretty well on watching what I ate. Last week was horrible I just got braces on about a week and a half ago, for 3 days all I had was Soup, and smoothies. Once I could actully chew food it was on.. I still have to watch what I eat.. I can not eat hard foods because my teeth are still...

I threw out my scale awhile ago in frustration. I guess I'm just the kind of person that expects something to work correctly. Is this odd coming from someone who is artistic in nature?
Anyway, I've decided to use the "notches in my belt" method, or how lose my pants get to gauge my weight lose.
It seems at the begining that every little goal is important, but how do you keep track, my scale is off =/- 5 lbs, I could step on it 10 times and get 4 different weights.
Such a sad face! Now until New Years is the hardest time. It seems that it is a cycle for me. New Years is the usual resolution thing, (doesn't last) Spring time I resolve to look better for Summer (again, doesn't last) then it's Fall, I'm mad at myself for not following through, and then it starts, Halloween, Thanksgiving, by that time I say the heck with it, I'll wait till New Years, and well ....
Alexia, keep those goals in focus. You are doing great and looks like you are getting closer to you goals. Resist those tempting treats...well except on your cheat day if you have one. Remember everything in moderation...
