What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Most common reason... people are morons and have no idea what good form looks like. Their interests usually lie more in how heavy the weight is that they are lifting opposed to how structurally sound the lift actually is. Nothing drives me crazier than some idiot swinging their bodies around like an acrobat when doing isolated moves, or even compound moves for that matter. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Rotator cuff... lasted a few weeks, thank god. Recovered with rest and rehabbing the smaller RT muscles back with int/ext rotations, abd/adductions, etc.
