There is nothing more empowering than being physically strong. Lifting heavy to me is the ultimate high.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation just comes naturally to me. I'm competitive in nature and love to top my last workout in as many aspects as possible. Seeing a new muscle pop in the mirror without even looking for it is reward enough!

Depends on my training phase... if trying to build mass, I keep the reps between 6-10 per set. If cutting, I drop set starting at a weight good for 6-10 reps, then dropping and dropping until complete failure with higher reps.Depends on my training phase... if trying to build mass, I keep the reps between 6-10 per set. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Most common reason... people are morons and have no idea what good form looks like. Their interests usually lie more in how heavy the weight is that they are lifting opposed to how structurally sound the lift actually is. Nothing drives me crazier than some idiot swinging their bodies around like an acrobat when doing isolated moves, or even compound moves for that matter. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Rotator cuff... lasted a few weeks, thank god. Recovered with rest and rehabbing the smaller RT muscles back with int/ext rotations, abd/adductions, etc.
Just coming off a successful bulk, now to the misery of cutting. Gained a great amount of strength and size in the past several months. Now the misery of steady state cardio, clean eating and minimal alcohol. I wonder if I can fool myself by drinking Sprite Zero out of a martini glass?
