"My upper body is coming along fantastic, but my lower body is still a challenge. Some fat to lose, but I want to have a lot of definition in my thighs. Lean, streamlined, long and leggy with the right movement is what I'm going for."

When I Started:
Apr, 2008
How I Started:
I lost 50lbs when I was 23 years old. Before that I had spent much of my life overweight. Now, I have kept the weight off and continue to learn, adjust, and find new and better ways to stay fit.
Why I Love It:
The challenge and the results. Who doesn't want to look and feel their very best?
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't need a lot of motivation, but a structured program does help. In April I started Body for Life, and will be sticking with it to the end...and plan to beyond.
BB Accomplishments:
Let's see how I do :) I would say keeping the weight off is a major accomplishment. I'm 36 and still look like I'm 26.

Mandatory Sunday morning picture... three weeks after stopping thyroid meds, three weeks of carb cycling.... and a new and more challenging status bikini. Not flattering quite yet, but something to aspire to. I wish I was making more headway with fat loss but I know I need to be patient.

Goal (Long):
I would like good separation but not huge amounts of mass. Because I am petite any amount of mass makes a difference. Frankly, I would like to look like a gazelle. How's that for a goal?
On my way back from the club, from trying to bust my legs as much as possible. You know, for a lady who can't do normal squats right now.
I saw a woman walking down the street past my apartment with the most perfect legs, ever. Strong, long, lean and muscular. Her quads owned the place. ...
You're too kind, I've got a LONG way to go but I think I'm back on track and I never turn down help or advice from any source, don't be so hard on yourself you probably have a lot to offer!
Good for you! Make sure you get a good stretch in! The first time I started stairs and lunges it was hard to take my kids up to bed...it was hard to explain to them that expercise hurts too, but a good pain!
