How I Started:
When I was 19, I got really into it because I was bored and living away from home and had a long-distance relationship (so no dating!)... and I've never been a party-girl. There was a gym across the street from my work and I joined on a whim. Before I moved back to my hometown, I was working out twice a day 6 days a week.
Why I Love It:
Right now, I'm a mother of 5 kiddos (yes, 5! yes, on purpose!) ages from 1 to 10. I like how strong it makes me, how much energy I have and how it makes that pregnancy fat disappear.
How I Stay Motivated:
Fitness is one of my top priorities. I stay motivated because NOT reaching my fitness goals is NOT a possibility. I don't care how long or how hard, I will be getting it done!

This is what I managed to accomplish before I got pregnant with my 5th child. I have a lot of work to do to get back there again -- and I'm planning to far surpass it!!
August 2007 versus September 2008. I may not have had a fast transformation (and it's still far from finished), but I keep moving forward and I never give up! I will reach my goals no matter how long it takes!

Goal (Long):
Over the last few years, I've fallen in love with the gorgeous fit bodies that I see in Oxygen or Muscle & Fitness Hers, etc. I have no interest in competing in Fitness or Figure competitions -- I just want that body! Recently I'm starting to think about competing in the Women's Tri-Fitness competition as a dual competitor (Obstacle course and Fitness Skills). I want to be a role-model of health and fitness for my kids!
Do you ever find yourself wearing them more than anything? I could wear them all day everyday. And not just the baggy stuff.

I do circuit training 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday). It changes each session, so it's difficult to give a detailed listing. Currently, it all comes from "Making the Cut" by Jillian Michaels -- but as time goes on, I will probably alter/add to it.

Wow, we have a lot in common!! I train on my own too. I put my Ipod on and ignore everyone too! I always think most of the people think I'm a snob, but I'm just staying in my ZONE, ya know. THis morning, I was in the more male dominated weight area and all they did was stare! I feel like a goddess when I pump iron there! LOL I did have a really cute outfit though. Tiny shorts and a fitted tank!! OUCH...I couldn't do that 4 months ago!!! LMAO
Do yo udo the training on your own? I'm in my 8th week! Four more to go and we'll see how I have progressed! This belly is sooo stubborn though! I'm being pateient though because it has gone down drastically! How do you get your avi to switch from one pic to the next like that? That's so cool!
